Hey there! Glad to hear you are interested in our artist retreat. This weekend is designed to give you a time to relax, build community with other artists under the instruction of experienced working artists who love to help others reach their potential as they create.
Details
Unique and intimate artist retreats located on the property of artist Wendy Michelle Davis. Designed for artists who would like instruction as they paint. The weekend is meant to give attendees a place to create among other artist who are committed to furthering their art practice. Designed for all levels of artists, the morning session will be in acrylic paint on canvas with artist Wendy Michelle Davis. The afternoon session will be working with watercolor on paper with artist Jolee French. This is also a space to learn from one another by seeing each other's creative processes, sharing experiences, knowing that we are not alone in the creative journey.
All meals are included in the cost with a variety of fresh ingredients prepared by a cook (my amazing husband Rafael) who is as passionate about food as you are about art. The setting is a peaceful semi-rural landscape with the back of the property looking out over tree tops and farm fields. We are located just outside of Waco, Texas. There are rooms available on site. The instructional artist retreat does not currently have dates planned. The Cost is $290 which includes all meals.
If you would like to stay on site during the retreat shop affordable room stays. You have the option to book Friday night or Friday and Saturday night. (Currently Closed)
Frequently Asked Questions
1. Do I need to bring my own supplies?

No, all your supplies will be provided. If you have certain brushes you would like to use feel free to bring them, otherwise everything you need for both painting sessions will be provided.
2. What if I need to cancel?

If for some reason you need to cancel you will receive a full refund 20 days or more before the retreat begins. If you cancel 14 days or less before the retreat starts you will be issued a 50% refund. If you cancel within 48 hours of the event there is no refund.
