Artist Retreats
Unique and intimate artist retreats located on the property of artist Wendy Michelle Davis. Designed for experienced and/or working artists, creating in 2D, the weekend is meant to give attendees a place to create among other artist who are passionate and committed to their work. With plenty of time to work on projects of your choice, there will also be opportunity for small and whole group critique and feedback on your work. This is a space to learn from one another by seeing each other's creative processes, sharing experiences, knowing that we are not alone in the creative journey.
All meals are included in the cost with a variety of fresh ingredients prepared by a cook (my amazing husband Rafael) who is as passionate about food as you are about art. The setting is a peaceful semi-rural landscape with the back of the property looking out over tree tops and farm fields. We are located just outside of Waco, Texas. There are rooms available on site. Frequently Asked Questions
1. Do I need to bring my own supplies?

Yes, you will bring all your own supplies for creating your art. We have table space available, but if you would like to work at an easel you will need to bring your own.
2. What if I need to cancel?

If for some reason you need to cancel you will receive a full refund 20 days or more before the retreat begins. If you cancel 14 days or less before the retreat starts you will be issued a 50% refund. If you cancel within 48 hours of the event there is no refund.
3. What does the retreat schedule look like?

4. Are there painting/art lessons during the retreat?

No, you will create your work without instruction. Although, you will get feedback on your work during the critique sessions.
